Education & Training
Dr. Franks attended St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry.
Following her sophomore year at St. Joe’s, Dr. Franks began working as an orthodontic assistant in the office of Dr. Benjamin Cassalia. Dr. Cassalia is the visionary pioneer of the innovative concealed orthodontic technique we offer at ALTA SMILES, C3 Hidden Orthodontics. After graduation, Dr. Franks joined Dr. Cassalia’s practice as an associate in 2012 and has treated many patients with this revolutionary technique since that time. In 2020, Dr. Franks joined the ALTA SMILES team and treats patients with a full range of orthodontic options.

Outside of the Office
Dr. Franks is a native of Bucks County and now lives in Montgomery County with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending as much time as possible with family and friends. On nice days you’ll find Dr. Franks outdoors, visiting local parks and playgrounds with her daughter, taking long walks, and gardening.
